Ryan Rice
Hi. I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. I love Cooking, Working Out, Photography, 3D Printing, Games, Playing Guitar, Journaling, Learning, and Designing Websites like this one! I am currently employed full time as a Thermal Design Engineer in Pennsylvania. I am always open to new opportunities to learn and grow personally and professionally. My Paths
Reflecting is a favorite activity of mine. I enjoy taking an introspective stance on the way things are and how they got there. Journaling became a great way to express and recall my experiences. In 2023, I began converting my journals into sharable ebooks in the 17 Days of September Series. In the future, I hope to write historical fiction novels that provide an oppurtunity share my reflections with others.
My passion for photography began in 2022 when I was gifted my first Canon DSLR Camera. Having only ever used an iPhone for pictures, I was excited to bring my Canon on a trip to Italy like a real tourist. Since that trip, I've had more travelling for business and leisure, and I continued to capture the beauty that I saw. I've refined my skills through classes and seminars such as the Philly Camera Show in 2023.
I have always been an avid fan of music of many genres, but I started creating my own sound during the Covid-19 Pandemic of 2020. It was then that I picked up a guitar for the first time and learned those four major chords that build and grow to a universal language. While I continue to practice and build my skills, I plan to one day make my own songs so that I can tell my story in a new and creative way.
I graduated with a chemical engineering degree in 2020. While once I consider my job as my identity, I now see engineering for what it is: a piece of the picture that defines me. I love using my knowledge to help others through engineering. By passing on my understanding to others, I hope to empower the next generation of innovators. I look forward to the wonderful technology they will create.

Coaching
I hope to soon get back into coaching so I can give back in a way that was so beneficial to my development as a child. I will take my experience from Pittsburgh and Parkersburg moving forward.

Family
I love my family, and plan on having one of my own. I am excited about the opportunity to one day raise children of my own in this world. I am currently engaged and planning a wedding for early 2027.

Teaching
It is a core value of mine to pass on the learnings that I have received so that others my strive in my stead when I am gone. In my opinion, this is the best way to make a lasting impact on the future.

Working Out
​It is so important to stay healthy. This is my number one core value for living my best life.

Games
I love games of all kinds. Video games, board games, athletic games. Anything to keep the mind focused and build competition. I am quite good and rarely do I lose.
